This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

My friend Steve kindly shared a photo that he took of some fallen leaves that had landed on the sidewalk. In the photo, the leaves were mostly browns and yellows, so I added some color. Then I experimented with different textures. I made use of bubble wrap, salt, shelving material, and even a hair comb.

Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings.
